DDP
In the Dropbox folder there will be 4 different Folders. They are as below
Mp3 Files - Not for release -
These are the Mp3 files of your masters
And as said in the folder name, these are not for release or distribution, they are just for reference and personal use
24 44.1 Wav files -These are the files that will be sent out to your different forms of digital distribution (DRM, Distrokid etc).
If any aggregators or distributors will not accept files of this quality - send them the 16 bit files instead
24 48k Wav Files
These are the files that will be sent out to use for any videos or visual content - Music videos, Sync deals etc
These are also the files that would be sent off for Vinyl pressing.
Please Let me know if you are getting vinyl pressed in advance as:
A. I will probably be keen on getting one
B. I can do checks to make sure the tracks are prepared for the format correctly - Most of the time the same masters are fine to submit for vinyl pressing, but in some cases there may be small tweaks that need to be made to make sure your tracks translate well to vinyl.
C. I can make your Side A/B layups and supply PQ codes for the cutting house
D. I might want to make recommendations on the cutting engineer you use to make sure the vinyl is as good as it can be and avoid issues in the cutting process
DDP

This folder with contain a .zip file and also a folder containing all of the DDP image data.
Both the .ZIP and the Folder should be delivered to the pressing/duplication plant.
Do not move or change and files in the folders.

To listen to and check your DDP/CD Bounce
Please listen to this to make sure the CD plays between the tracks as you want it too and double check all naming
Follow the instructions below to listen the tracks as they will appear on the CD

1. Download the files from dropbox onto your computer
2. Find the Folder Labelled "DDP With Player"
3. Unzip the file inside
4. Go into the folder and open the folder “Player”
5. Open Either the Mac or PC version of the software and the DDP Player should launch
Make sure you don’t move any other files in the un zipped folder before doing this
Then you will be able to listen to the files as they will appear on the CD
Let me know if you have any troubles with this

Again, please remember to download and back up your files.
The files will stay in the dropbox for around 6 months if you need to re access them - but please only use this if absolutely needed.
After 6 months they get moved to longtime online storage and there could be costs involved with retrieving old masters from long time storage.
